The Old Car Manual Project

I had never heard of this until one day when I was doing a Google image search for a 1972 Suburban and stumbled across this site:


I have spent a little time browsing around, and it looks really interesting to me. Basically, it appears that individuals who have original paper copies of automotive literature (specifically sales brochures) scanned them into the JPG format and then uploaded them to the site. There is a TON of interesting stuff on the site, but this link, for example, has their Canadian GM Truck bochure collection, which captures most of the years from the 1960s through the 1980s:


There appears to be a pretty nice collection of literature for many years of GM cars. It's fun to browse through this stuff again, since I sold all of my three boxes full of old accumulated brochures on eBay a few years ago.
